This a well designed, Arduino compatible mobile robot development platform,you can build it and program it easily with tons of published free codes. Compare with the last mobile platform, this one has a tough aluminium bodywith mounting holes, you can add Variety of sensors to make it more interesting.

Does this item come with all the parts listed in the manual (battery holder, sensor brackets, etc?) or only the ones in the picture and "package list" in the item description page? Are the motors variable speed / reversible / brushless (ie can be driven by PWM / motor shield)? Looks like a good platform if so!

Because if the motor is not reversible, I don't need a motor shield and can just drive it with PWM and a transistor.
