This is a multifunctional Arduino/Seeeduino/Arduino Mega compatible resistive touch screen. It can be used as display device or sketch pad.Compared with the previous version, 2.8’’TFT Touch Shield V1.0, we replaced the screen driver with a more professional chip, ILI9341 driver, providing different pin-saving SPI communication without sacrificing the data transmitting speed. Due to the communication method change, programs developed for the original version need modifications before being transplanted to the new version. With a SD card module integrated also on this shield, this shield reserves great room for other expansions to your project.
Big screen for easy and comfortable experience
Backlight controllable via programming
65535 rich colors display
SPI pin-saving communication method
Full screen touch active range

I am sorry but we don't have a try.
I am afraid no.
Easy enough to use, but you'll have to modify or write your own library for more capabilities such as landscape mode. My only real problem, and it's a big one, is that the shield physically occupies the entire board and covers up all of the pins.
OK, here's my solution....Sparkfun Screwshield on bottom (Seeedstudio Screwshield should work, too), Arduino Pro stacked on Screwshield, then 2.8 TFT stacked on top of Arduino. Programs fine. I like the Arduino Pro because it has a battery connector. Just plug my 3,7v LiPo battery in and I have a nice portable development platform. Only caveat is that you must have long header pins on your Arduino.
Hello Guys , Can it work with NFC Shield V2 ?
Hi, Is this currently still the case in the library? Which fixed orientation is it that the text is displayed , portrait or landscape?
How do i get this to work for arduino uno, i have the v2.1 tft display and i canot find any sketches thatll work for it

Hi, is it correct that the '2.8"TFT Touch Shield V2.0' is using the following pins of the Arduino Uno r3 or are there any more (like ICSP) pins used? Pins: D4, D5, D6, D7, D10, D11, D12, D13, A0, A1, A2 and A3. Kind regards, Johannes...
Hi,Johannes Glaser,Pins are using:D0,D1,Pins Used for TFT Screen Control(D4,D5,D6,D7),Pins Used for SPI Interface(D10,D11,D12,D13).Pins Used for Touch Function(A0,A1,A2,A3).----D2,D3,D8,D9 are free.with a happy day~
Hi. I've got a project that I'd like to use this with - only need to display bmps. With the images stored on the card, could I use a mini or micro to control this display?
Hi,Roland Blais,of course, you can jump line to connect them, and use our library to control this display. How to jump line:you can refer our wiki demo that connect with seeeduino.with a happy day~
