Seeed is Looking for Overseas Business Development and Technical Support Reps

Due to Covid-19 and the impact it has had on global travel, all of us have come to realize the importance of online collaboration more than ever. As Seeed has had to cancel business trips just like most companies so far this year, we are beginning an initiative to search for overseas representatives who can work with us as business developers to help generate sales, as well those who can provide technical support for our clients.

While these are NOT full-time positions, we do hope to find individuals who are experienced in the field of IT or IoT who are looking to expand their clientele by adding Seeed products and services to their professional repertoire. Other than that, we are also looking for representatives in similar roles to work with our subsidiary TinkerGen, which provides fun and easy-to-learn solutions for STEM education. If selected, we will provide the necessary product training and discuss appropriate strategies to work together in your home market.

What: Seeed is expanding its network of overseas BD and technical support representatives, by working with industry professionals with expertise in IT/IoT solutions OR STEM education, and experience in client development in their respective markets and providing technical support as necessary. Remuneration in form of commission and/or project fee. This is NOT a full-time position. 

Who: We are looking for individuals who meet some or all of the following criteria: 

For IoT solutions: 

  • Experience in IT sales or IoT system integration and good knowledge of home market
  • Able to do basic troubleshooting, provide or coordinate technical support
  • Familiar with Seeed products and willing to develop long-term collaborations
  • Interested in long-term business development and building solid customer relations
  • Able to work remotely with Shenzhen team with flexibility and quick response

For STEM solutions:

  • Experience in and knowledge of school systems in your local market
  • Experience in distribution for toys or education products
  • Interested in long-term business development and building solid customer relations
  • Able to work remotely with Shenzhen team with flexibility and quick response
