The Thin film transistor liquid crystal display (TFT LCD) technology is the most common display technology used in mobile phones.<\/li>\n<li>IPS LCD Stands for In Plane Switching liquid Crystal Display. This technology offers better display quality as compared to the TFT-LCD display. The good part about IPS LCD is that it offers better viewing angles and consumes less power. Due to higher costs, it is found only on high-end smartphones.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>What is HDMI\/VGA\/NTSC\/PAL<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>For some small size display, none of them is used. USB in hardware and SPI in software is much cheaper choice.<\/li>\n<li>VGA: Analog signal. Limited by bandwidth which prevents higher resolutions.<\/li>\n<li>HDMI: Digital signal. Can carry audio and video data.<\/li>\n<li>NTSC is the video system or standard used in North America and most of South America.<\/li>\n<li>PAL is the predominant video system or standard mostly used
