The 2025 MFSZ \u00b7 Hi Tour \u2014 Shenzhen Manufacturing Innovation Journey<\/strong> successfully concluded on November 17, gathering 70 global makers and Innovation Ambassadors<\/strong> from more than 20 regions including New Zealand, the United States, Germany, Mexico, Brazil, India, the UK, France, Italy, Canada, Indonesia..<\/strong>. For many participants, this was their first time setting foot inside China\u2019s world-renowned hardware ecosystem \u2014 an experience described unanimously as inspiring, eye-opening, and unforgettable<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This year\u2019s Hi Tour offered a full-day deep dive into the Greater Bay Area\u2019s unique supply-chain advantages<\/strong>, the evolution of Seeed Studio<\/strong>, and the real stories behind how ideas become mass-manufactured products.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A First-Hand Look at Seeed\u2019s Agile Manufacturing Center (AMC)<\/strong> <\/strong><\/h1>\n\n\n\n

The journey began at Seeed\u2019s Agile Manufacturing Center (AMC)<\/strong> \u2014 the backbone behind Seeed\u2019s hardware business. Participants explored the complete path from prototype to small-batch production, including:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Through real factory workflows, visitors learned how Seeed solves long-standing challenges faced by hardware innovators \u2014 such as manufacturing constraints, limited project management resources, QA bottlenecks, and the high cost of small-batch production.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Seeed\u2019s AMC demonstrated how the team supports customers from 0 to 1,000 units and beyond<\/strong>, covering rapid prototyping, EVT\/DVT engineering builds, small-batch assembly, functional testing, packaging, and mass-production transfer through trusted partners.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    From Modules, to Devices, to Industry Solutions<\/strong><\/h1>\n\n\n\n

    In the AMC exhibition hall, guests followed a curated walkthrough:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      Understanding the Greater Bay Area Advantage<\/strong><\/h1>\n\n\n\n

      A highlight of the tour was the enormous Greater Bay Area (GBA) hardware ecosystem map<\/strong>, showcasing how Shenzhen connects with Dongguan, Guangzhou, Zhuhai, and surrounding manufacturing clusters.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      Using an ODM robotics project (Reachy Mini, co-developed with Pollen Robotics) as a real example, guests learned how different components originate from specialized towns across the GBA \u2014 from CNC structural parts and speaker modules to heat-sink assemblies and battery packs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      Participants gained a deeper appreciation for why Shenzhen remains the global hub for hardware innovation:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
