What is CEP50?<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>In GNSS positioning, <strong>CEP50 (Circular Error Probable, 50%)<\/strong> is a commonly used metric to describe real-world positioning accuracy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>CEP50 represents a radius within which 50% of all reported location points fall, measured from the true position.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For example: If a device has a CEP50 of 2.5 meters. It means that more than half of the positioning results are within 2.5 meters of the actual location.<\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter is-resized\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/wdcdn.qpic.cn\/MTY4ODg1Njc4ODc5MzA3OA_411496_dTjhxjpatWEwYFyz_1768532926?w=1840&amp;h=1288&amp;type=image\/png\" alt=\"\" style=\"width:611px;height:auto\"\/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>2.&nbsp;<\/strong> <strong>T2000 CEP50 Test Results<\/strong><strong><\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>\uff08<\/strong><strong>1<\/strong><strong>\uff09<\/strong><strong>Test Setup<\/strong><strong><\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The test was conducted under static conditions to evaluate the GNSS positioning accuracy of the T2000. The test parameters are listed below:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>GNSS scan <\/strong><strong>timeout<\/strong><strong>:<\/strong> 60 seconds<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>U<\/strong><strong>plink<\/strong><strong> interval:<\/strong><strong> <\/strong>1 minute<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Device status:<\/strong> Stationary<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Number of samples per device:<\/strong> Approximately 1,000 positioning records<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Two pieces of T2000 devices were tested under the same conditions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>\uff08<\/strong><strong>2<\/strong><strong>\uff09<\/strong><strong>CEP50 Test Results<\/strong><strong><\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Based on the collected GNSS positioning data, statistical error analysis was performed for both devices, with the following results:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Device A<\/strong><ul><li><strong>CEP50:<\/strong> 7.1 m<\/li><\/ul>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Maximum drift distance:<\/strong> 71 m<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Device B<\/strong><ul><li><strong>CEP50:<\/strong> 5.7 m<\/li><\/ul>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Maximum drift distance:<\/strong> 57.9 m<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>The results show that both T2000 devices produced a relatively concentrated distribution of positioning points under the test environment. Some of them are inherent to the GNSS system and atmospheric conditions and cannot be completely eliminated, while others are related to device installation and usage and can be optimized in real-world deployments.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>\uff08<\/strong><strong>1<\/strong><strong>\uff09<\/strong><strong>Obstructions<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Buildings, trees, or vehicles may block or weaken satellite signals, reducing the number of satellites available for positioning and affecting accuracy. To minimize this impact, the device should be installed in an open area with a clear view of the sky.<\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter is-resized\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/wdcdn.qpic.cn\/MTY4ODg1Njc4ODc5MzA3OA_943582_fQq1i7ET5mAqg1Op_1768444920?w=2198&amp;h=741&amp;type=image\/png\" alt=\"\" style=\"width:792px;height:auto\"\/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n<p><strong>\uff08<\/strong><strong>2<\/strong><strong>\uff09<\/strong><strong> Electromagnetic Interference<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Nearby electronic equipment or large metal objects can introduce electromagnetic interference, which may affect GNSS signal reception. It is recommended to keep the device away from strong electronic sources and large metallic structures whenever possible.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>\uff08<\/strong><strong>3<\/strong><strong>\uff09<\/strong><strong>Multipath Effects<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>GNSS signals may be reflected by buildings, walls, or metal surfaces before reaching the device. These reflected signals can cause positioning errors, commonly referred to as multipath effects.
