Start:\u00a0<\/strong>Register your name.<\/p>\n<p>Start by creating a free account on\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.hackster.io\/\">Hackster.io<\/a>\u00a0(or sign in if you&#8217;re already a member), and register for the contest by clicking &#8220;Register as a participant&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p><strong>2. Pre-Contest: <\/strong>Submit your project idea and enter to win 1 of 100 free 20% off coupon and 1 of 20 free BBGs.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Click &#8220;Submit your idea&#8221; and fill in the template. Tell us what IoT project you want to build.<\/li>\n<li>Share the story\u00a0and add\u00a0a high-quality cover image (ideas take only a few minutes to submit).<\/li>\n<li>We will select the top 20 winners of the free BBG &amp; the top 100 winners for the 20% coupon based\u00a0on idea originality, quality, and buildability<\/li>\n<li>Idea submission opens on\u00a0January 8\u00a0and closes on February 22. We will announce the winners on\u00a0February 27.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>3. Contest:\u00a0<\/strong>Submit a\u00a0complete\u00a0project and enter to win a the top prizes: A Shenzhen Maker Fair trip!<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Click &#8220;Submit an entry&#8221; and fill in the template.<\/li>\n<li>Describe your design that will\u00a0inspire\u00a0others to create IoT tutorials<\/li>\n<li>Include plenty of details: what are you creating? What does it do? Why is it cool?
