We are going to make a gerber file, if the number of people who loved your gerber design is the highest then we will finally fabricate it to PCB boards.<\/p>\n

1. Material<\/h2>\n

1) Prepare a picture, format: *.bmp; color: only black and white
\nThis picture will be the front side of the PCB board, you can mark your name in the picture too. (*please note the Copyright issue.)
\n2) Draw a outline picture of the PCB board, format *.bmp. If you know how to draw it in eagle then you don\u2019t need to draw this picture.
\n3) If you have not install eagle, please install eagle too<\/p>\n

2. Gerber file<\/h2>\n

For PCB specificaiton, please refer to below link:

Now let\u2019s begin make a gerber file<\/strong>
\n1. Creat a new board file
\nOpen eagle, then click File > New > Board<\/p>\n

2. Import the outline picture then change it\u2019s layer information
\n\u2460Click \u201cULP\u201d, Open \u201cimport-bmp.ulp\u201d fil<\/p>\n

\u2461Click \u201cOK\u201d<\/p>\n

\"draw<\/p>\n

\u2462Open the outline picture first<\/p>\n

\"open<\/p>\n

\u2463Choose the color you want to keep of the design.<\/p>\n

\"choose<\/p>\n

\u2464Scale the picture dimension to the real PCB dimension. Then click \u201cOK\u201d, then wait\u2026<\/p>\n

\"Scale<\/p>\n

\u2465Run script<\/p>\n

\"Run<\/p>\n

\u2466delete the unwanted words or lines
\nMove figure: Press the center button of the mouse to move the figure
\n-Click \u2018delete \u201d, then \u201cgroup\u201d \u201d the line and words you don\u2019t need.<\/p>\n

-Right click the mouse and choose \u201cdelete group\u201d.<\/p>\n

The final outline figure will be like below.<\/p>\n

\u2467Change the layer information of the outline
\n-Group the outline figure and click \u201cchange \u201d, choose \u201clayer\u201d<\/p>\n

– select layer 20 (Dimension), Click \u201cOK\u201d<\/p>\n

-Right click the mouse then choose \u2018change group\u201d<\/p>\n

\"change<\/p>\n

-Check have you alrady change the layer
\nGroup the outline figure, right click the mouse, choose \u201cProperties\u201d<\/p>\n

\"Properties\"<\/p>\n

The layer information should be 20 dimension. Click \u201cOK\u201d<\/p>\n

\"ok\"<\/p>\n

3. Then import the front and back layer in the same way.<\/h2>\n

*Note:
\n\u2460Front layer should change to layer 29 tStop; Back layer should change to layer 30 bStop<\/p>\n

\u2461The back layer need to do Mirror, or after made to PCB board the words will be inverse.
\n– click \u201cmirror \u201d, group the back layer, right click the mouse and change mirror.<\/p>\n

-After mirror the back layer, it should be like below.<\/p>\n

4. Save the eagle file, then you got a \u201c*.brd\u201d file.<\/h2>\n

Use a new folder to put the brd file, later the gerber file will exported to this folder too.<\/p>\n

5. Export it to a gerber file.<\/h2>\n

You can generate your Gerber file as per following link:
