Seeed Fusion<\/a> would like to thank you personally for your ongoing support throughout the past year. We hope you are satisfied with the services provided and humbly thank you for your understanding when things have gone wrong. Now that the year 2017 is coming to a close, we thought we\u2019d use this opportunity to express our heartfelt gratitude and share with you some of the achievements you\u2019ve helped us reach so far.<\/p>\n

As a Maker for Makers, Seeed is committed to catering to the needs of the Maker community and beyond. It is your voice that directly influences our decisions and development targets. Beginning late last year, we began a campaign to actively seek your opinions and act directly on them.<\/p>\n

More and more affordable services and options<\/strong>
\nStarting late last year when we cut the cost for alternative PCB colors, we have been constantly finding ways of making our service more affordable for the humble maker. We know many of you are digging into your own pockets for your projects, and affordability without compromising on quality is one of the main reasons you choose us. Over the past year, our special PCBs have fallen from $19.90USD to $9.90USD and again to $4.90USD<\/a>. Likewise, all our stencil sizes have dropped in price and are now permanently half price or more. At the same time, we have maintained the same level of quality if not better.<\/p>\n

New CNC milling<\/a> and Advanced PCB<\/a><\/strong>
\nCNC milling is back, and many of you who have tried the service have expressed great satisfaction with the results. We have also introduced the Advanced PCB service and online order form, so you can get an instant quote for more complex and demanding PCB designs.<\/p>\n

Express DHL Shipping Worldwide<\/a><\/strong>
\nRecently, we strengthened our partnership with our major shipping agent to greatly accelerate the DHL freight service at no extra cost. This means you can get your order within one day from dispatch in the Asian Pacific Region or Australia, and two days anywhere else in the world. That is at least two days faster than before and at no additional cost to you.<\/p>\n

OPL for IoT \u2013 Particle Partnership<\/a><\/strong>
\nBy sourcing all the components for your project from the Seeed Open Parts Library<\/a> (OPL), you can considerably reduce the lead time for PCB Assembly<\/a>. But you have told us that the effectiveness of this relies heavily on the OPL covering all the parts you need. At the same time, we also know that more and more of you are interested in IoT applications. So as part of our new partnership with Particle, we have expanded the library to cover IoT projects and included the popular Particle P0 and P1 Wi-Fi modules.<\/p>\n

Redefining Customer Care
\nWe are currently revising our entire Knowledge Base and strengthening our customer service to better assist you. As part of an open community, we want to share our knowledge in design for manufacture and enable greater transparency in how we operate. Our first version of the DFM<\/a> (Design for Manufacture) publication was well received and you have voiced greater support for similar documentation. The next step is amending the FAQ and introducing more tools to help you find the answers to your questions.<\/p>\n

Furthermore, we are working on refining the entire supply chain management system so you can get the best price with faster and higher quality service. In addition, we are developing more Maker orientated productization services and solutions to cover more of your needs.<\/p>\n

Seeed Fusion has undergone many positive changes over the past year, but we still have much to improve and will continue to work hard into the year 2018. We sincerely hope that you can continue to have your support along the way for a better service for everyone!<\/p>\n
