The credit card-sized computer can be connected to a TV, a computer monitor, and be used with a keyboard and mouse. From browsing the internet and playing games, to making spreadsheets and viewing 1080 high-definition videos, it is capable of functioning just like a desktop computer. The Raspberry Pi is a tiny, but surprisingly powerful device.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Given the multitude of possibilities with this device, you might be unaware of some interesting functions that the Rasberry Pi is capable of. Hence, we shall introduce 10 very basic but interesting applications based on Pi.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>1.Turn your Kindle into a PC<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>With a Kindle and a Raspberry Pi, you can rig your Kindle into to an ultraportable, monochrome computer &#8211; the Kindleberry Pi. Using your Kindle as a screen, connect it to the processing power of the Raspberry Pi. Lastly, prepare some form of game controller and its done. The smart machine automatically gives out food when your pet dogs approach. Such an application can serve as an inspiration for makers, as it can be developed for face recognition uses. Long distance Coffee Maker<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Connect your Pi to a Coffee Maker and write a dial programme, and you can turn your traditional coffee maker into an IoT coffee maker. This device enables you to simply dial to have a cup of coffee. There was once a computer fanatic who connected 64 Pis together to build a Pi super computer. More interestingly, his son has combined the Pis with Lego, making the super computer both fancy and functionable at the same time. It is the basic skill to have as an internet hacker.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>8. A Pocket Computer<\/strong><strong><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Wouldn&#8217;t it be great to have a pocket-sized computer to have around in your pocket? Many makers delight in changing the Nintendo Game Boy or old style PDA into a Pi Pocket Computer, which can run Linux. Unfortunately, it is not only low power but also low on return as well (because the world is fair).
