The main propose of this device is to connect remote radio-studios (or live-events) to a main radiostation over the Internet using an IceCast2-Server. It basically is a hardware IceCast2 Upstream-Client. Additionally the OggStreamer can host an IceCast2-Mini-Server on its own \u2013 so that a limited number of listeners can directly connect to the Livestream with just with one click on the webinterface.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p><font size=\"2\"><\/font><\/p>\n<p><font size=\"2\"><\/font><\/p>\n<p><font size=\"2\"><\/font><\/p>\n<p><font size=\"2\"><\/font><\/p>\n<p><font size=\"2\"><\/font><\/p>\n<p><font size=\"2\"><\/font><\/p>\n<p><font size=\"2\"><\/font><\/p>\n<p><font size=\"2\"><\/font><\/p>\n<p><font size=\"2\"><\/font><\/p>\n<p><font size=\"2\">The Project won the 2nd price in the Lantronix XPortPro 2010 contest and the designer reinvested the price money and many hundreds of hours to push the project further.
