Codecraft is based on the Scratch 3.0 language and enables programming by simply \u201cdragging and dropping\u201d blocks. In addition to Scratch\u2019s ability to program interactive games or animations, Codecraft also supports a variety of common hardware devices, enabling hardware and software integration, which makes programming even more fun! &nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The first version of Codecraft was released by TinkerGen in July 2018. Since then it was continuously updated with new functions and hardware. Codecraft 1.x only supported&nbsp;the <strong>Grove Zero series<\/strong>. Now, Codecraft supports 7 different development boards, including&nbsp;<strong>Arduino Uno\/Mega<\/strong>&nbsp;and<strong>&nbsp;BBC Micro:bit<\/strong>. Another major update was in December 2018, when Codecraft 2.0 was released and the IDE became accessible online. A set of new extensions was added allowing access to Deep Learning capabilities in Stage mode, such as<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Face\/Face landmark detection<\/li><li>Emotion recognition<\/li><li>Speech command recognition<\/li><li>Custom model Training and Inference<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter is-resized\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/blog.seeedstudio.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/04\/capture1-1030x507.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"773\" height=\"380\" \/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>The next milestone for Codecraft was version 2.5, released just a week ago. This version starts on the path of seamlessly integrating&nbsp;<a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/make2learn.tinkergen.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Make2Learn<\/a>&nbsp;(TinkergGen online course platform) into Codecraft. It makes teaching programming easier than ever by combining&nbsp;<strong>rich media content<\/strong>&nbsp;of the course and&nbsp;<strong>programming environment<\/strong>&nbsp;in one window! Let\u2019s see how it works in practice.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>When you go to&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/ide.tinkergen.com\/\">https:\/\/ide.tinkergen.com\/<\/a>&nbsp;you are greeted with a brand new Lessons interface.
