We’ve upgraded <\/span>our\u00a0Ranger Program<\/a>\u00a0to version 3.0, inviting developers worldwide to help us drive tech innovation forward. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Over the past years, we received over 100 applications from talented individuals across 30 countries. We’re excited to announce that we now have 18 official Rangers!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We’ve hosted 200+ events in Italy, India, Vietnam, UAE, Cameroon, France, Colombia, Indonesia, the US, Germany, Maxico, and China. These sessions have attracted thousands of participants eager to explore IoT, AI, and tinyML while building projects with tools like the XIAO ESP32S3 Sense<\/a>, Grove Vision AI v2 kit<\/a>, SenseCAP series<\/a>, etc. From learning the basics of tinyML to training models with sensors and devices, some participants even developed solutions to tackle real-world challenges.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Salman Faris<\/a>, a computer science graduate passionate about electronics and hardware product development, boasts a diploma in digital fabrication from Fablab’s renowned “How to Make Almost Anything” academy. His journey is marked by a rich history, having served as an instructor at Fablab Kerala and played a pivotal role as a core organizer for MakerFaire Hyderabad in India. Salman’s active involvement extends to various maker and hardware communities, where his unwavering commitment fuels the development of a thriving makers’ community.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As a prominent Ranger<\/a> at Seeed Studio since 2018, Salman has consistently engaged with Seeed and shared his extensive knowledge with local communities. He channels his expertise through Seeed wiki co-build, workshops organization, and in-person exhibitions. In the current year, Salman is passionately conducting workshops on tinyML throughout India, UAE, China, leveraging the power of the XIAO ESP32S3 Sense<\/a> and Edge Impulse. Davide Gomba<\/strong> (Italy)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Davide Gomba<\/a>, an Italian maker and storyteller, has a deep passion for fostering meaningful conversations on a wide range of subjects, including IoT, STEAM, Domotics, Design Fiction, Agro, and Wearable Tech. As a creative technologist, Davide has a knack for designing experiences that bridge the realms of technology and culture. Some of his notable projects include Fablabforkids, focusing on STEAM education for children and science enthusiasts, Ruralhack, which explores IoT applications in grassroots agriculture, Home Automation inspired by the Casa Jasmina experience, and Industrial IoT collaborations with Seeed Studio.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In collaboration with Seeed, Davide contributed to the development and storytelling of the Hazard Response Mission Pack<\/a>. This project blends the “IoT Into the Wild<\/a>” challenge from Seeed in 2022 with the pressing issue of environmental disasters, which are becoming increasingly common and pose a threat to the delicate balance between humans and nature on our shared planet. As a Ranger of Seeed as well as an Italian, Davide designed a kit that monitors specific red flags and patterns across various measurements. The kit is housed in the resilient form factor that SenseCAP S200X provides and was tested on the ground with the community. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

A devoted user of Raspberry Pi products since 2012, Jordan utilizes these versatile tools to engineer cost-effective, innovative systems. Methodology merges precision engineering with creative problem-solving, his commitment to merging diverse technologies not only enhances operational efficiencies but also blazes new trails in the field of automation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Hendra Kusumah<\/a>, a dedicated lecturer and faculty member at Universitas Raharja, embarked on his journey with Seeed eight years ago. His initial interaction involved the LinkIt One IoT Development Board, which opened up a world of knowledge and possibilities in connectivity for his IoT projects. His journey with Seeed deepened during the “IoT into the Wild” contest, where he not only gained extensive new knowledge in LoRa, sensor-based TinyML, and blockchain but also formed valuable new friendships in the community. With an impressive 111 submissions, Hendra’s project became the most participated-in contest in Hackster’s history. Hendra’s collaboration with Bali Fab Fest Workshop<\/a>, using the SenseCAP K1100<\/a>, has fostered a closer relationship with Seeed Studio, promising remarkable adventures with Hendra on the horizon!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Jacek Ciuba<\/strong> (Poland)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Jacek Ciuba<\/a>, a professional DevOps engineer at Bosch and the dedicated caretaker of Mikrobot.pl for the past three years, a venture born out of his fervor for IoT. Jacek’s journey with Seeed began in 2017 during his college years when he purchased his first Raspberry Pi for a unique project\u2014a cocktail machine, a testimony to his passion for electronics. Jacek’s enthusiasm for microcontrollers took him to new heights at Europe’s largest hackathon, HackYeah, in 2020, where he crafted a solution based on the ESP8266. This innovation counted the number of individuals in a room through the Wi-Fi signals emitted by their personal devices. Presently, Jacek is actively involved in expanding industrial k3s clusters using Seeed Studio’s reServer<\/a> platform. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dessap Fomekong Loic Joffree<\/a> is an experienced Casa certified drone pilot, Micro drone Certified Instructor, and TME Education Ambassador in Cameroon. He also serves as the Co-coordinator and Youth Steam of Cameroon Flying Labs, and is the founder of ROBOTSAVE. As a KanderWeather IoT integrator and TwinSciences Ambassador, he brings a wealth of knowledge to his roles. He is currently studying Engineering of System Embedded Electronics and Applied Physics at the National Polytechnic University of Caen (ENSICAEN) in France.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dessap Fomekong Loic Joffree is dedicated to contributing to seven of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals. He pioneered and conducted several training programs to encourage STEM fields and introduce Terrestrial robot and Internet of Things (IoT) technology using SenseCAP, Seeed Studio Arduino, Raspberry Pi, and other hardware. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

His unwavering interest in problem-solving and digitalization has earned him multiple accolades in national and international competitions, organized by prestigious entities such as Seeed Studio, Maxim Integrated (now ADI), Infineon, and Arduino, among others.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Through his company, GABOTRIX, Gabriel is dedicated to conducting workshops and developing projects that not only teach advanced technologies like XIAO<\/a> but also guide young people and entrepreneurs from project prototyping to creating viable startups. Additionally, Gabriel is committed to the digital transformation of the industry and agricultural sector in his country and continent, promoting the use of solutions like SenseCAP to optimize and digitalize their operations. Junaid holds a Master’s in Advanced Manufacturing Systems and is actively involved in multiple engineering and technology societies, positioning him at the forefront of emerging technologies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
