Aster Watch EVB, a co-design product by Seeed Studio and MediaTek, is development board for prototyping Wearables and Internet of Things (IoT) devices that can connect to other smart devices or directly to cloud applications and services.
The watch uses the smallest smart watch soc solution powered by MT2502D with Bluetooth(EDR/BLE) and also features a 240x240 Color LCM as well as capacitive touch panel(CTP). With Aster Watch, it's easier and cheaper for device developers to produce desirable, functional wearable products prototype.
It also integrates complete breakout interfaces including: GPIO, I2C, SPI, UART, PWM, ADC, EINT, allowing you to develop sensor drivers with ease.

The boards look nice, and have basic functionality, but unfortunately that is all the positive news. The API documentation is for two different boards (the Link Assist 2502 and the Link One), not for this one. There seems to be no firmware update for this board, and it seems it does not work with the MediaTek developer toolkit.
Questions in the support forum have gone unanswered.
All in all a total waste of money.
