This 2m long One Wire Temperature Sensor has a waterproof probe and long wire shape, suitable for immersive temperature detection. The chip inside this sensor is DS18B20 which is widely adopted.
The original one includes three wires inside. You need to add an extra resistance to get it working. So for this sensor, we adjusted it into a Grove port and had a resistance pre-assembled inside so that you can use it as a regular Grove sensor. This makes it an easy connected one wire temperature senor for Seeeduino, which is derived from Arduino and compatible with all Arduino platforms.
For convenience, we have listed some resources at the bottom of this page. You can also find tons of resources from Google or other OSHW communities.
Caution
The cable part cannot be put under temperature higher than 70°C for a long time.

As a foodie, I have always longed for some sous vide dishes. However I haven’t got a chance to try it yet. [Sous vide (/suːˈviːd/) comes from French, means "under vacuum", a method of cooking in which food is sealed in airtight then placed in a
A solar boiler is great because it gives you hot water using free-sun-energy, but what if there is not enough sun or someone already used all the hot water ? This project helps you take the right decision. It warns you when you run out of hot water and al
Product Faqs
Yes, you can. But you need to get an extro resistance to get it working as before.
The diameter is 6mm, the length of steel is about 31mm, and the available length is about 21mm.
PS: by 'patches' I meant ECG Electrodes.

Thanks your question . It is 2m long .
Yes, you can. But you need to bind it well with the solar panel. Be careful about the rubber casing of the wire. Normally it can't melt.
It is recommended that you just use the metal tip of the temperature sensor in hot liquid. As the description of the sensor, " Wide temperature range: -55°C to +125°C ".
Hi Tim,Hi alan~ This sensor do support wio now.You can find it in the Wio APP under the Input category.Regards
It means you can use it with Arduino via grove cable.Regards
