4 digit red alpha-numeric display Grove compatible 8 adjustable luminance levels
4 digit display module is usually a 12 pin module. In this Grove module, we utilize a TM1637 to scale down the controlling pins into 2 Grove pins. It only takes 2 digital pins of Arduino or Seeeduino to control the content, even the luminance of this display. For projects that require of the alpha-numeric display, this can be a nice choice.

Grove - 4-Digit Display module is a 12-pin module. In this module, we utilise a TM1637 to scale down the number of controlling pins to 2. That is to say, it controls both the content and the luminance via only 2 digital pins of Arduino or Seeeduino.
I have the 4 digit Grove display and 2 of the zip files on the Wiki page have the same error. "the compressed (zipped) folder is invalid or corrupt. The folders are Grove 4-Digit Display V1.0 eagle files.zip
Hi Tom.Maybe you can change a browser and have a try again.
Hi, i want to show an analogical value from analogical pin, for exemple 924 on the 4 digit display. How can i do this ? How may I separate the units, the tens and hundreds ?
if you want to connet it to micro directly without arduino, you will need a USB to serial line, and the protocol is 232.
I am interested in using this on a plain old, non arduino, micro. Is the interface documented somewhere ?
i'm sorry,we don't have interface document which connecting to micro, but our product can connect to micro without through arduino.you can connect it to micro directly by Serial communication.
Hi, i'm using your arduino library from Github, is there a way to show characters other than the 0-9 and A-E, for example, the displays are perfectly capable of displaying characters such as 'H','g','y' etc...Altering the .cpp to pass in a different he
Of course you can. You may need to modify the example .cpp for your own purposes.
Here's one I was working on for the GrovePi: https://github.c
Hi I'd like to mount this through an opening in a PCB from the back. I need the dimensions of the 7 segment part of the unit so I can create a cutout. What are the exact dimensions of the 7 segment display? (or a link to datasheet). Thank you!
Exactly 30mm x 14mm for the quad 7-segment
As I need to display times in seconds and milliseconds, I needs a variant with decimal points instead of the double-dot.
Such as this Adafruit one, which has four decimal places and a colon after the 2nd segment:
How do I order a stencil with my order for a two layer pcb?, the web site does not seem to have an option for this request?, also do you have a price calculator or is the stencil included in the price of the PCB?
I am using base shield v1.3 and would like to use Groove 4 digit display. D2 and D3 ports are used for some other purpose and only free available ports on my base shield V1.3 are D7 and D8. I have some questions in this regard
1) Can I use D7 (cl
Does not require PWM, so you can use any available digital socket on the base shield.
Most Grove sensors only use 3 wires of the 4 in the socket, so you can use the adjacent socket.
This sensor uses all 4 wires, so you must keep the next digital
Thanks for your share. We appreciate that.
