Wiki of UartSBee V4
I have just bought this board in order to flash firmware for my bluetooth bee standalone board.
However, i am not sure how to configure the avrdude to work with uartsbee.
Would you please advise ? What is the programmer to use
Hello, you could directly use Arduino IDE to program bluetooth bee while it connecting to your PC with a USB cable.
The wiki for the 4.0 model is just a copy of the wiki for the 3.1 with a different model pic at the top. Any chance this will get updated? According to the board's legend layer, it has been over a year.
Hi Clinton , firstly thanks for your feedback . Secondly ,very sorry for the inconvenience brought , i have contacted with the engineer , and we will update it soon .
Can you provide a picture of how UarsBee 4.0 should connect to the Seeduino Stalker 2.0. Also, any suggestions of cables to do that? I bought the 10 pin flat ribbon cable and it does not fit on the 4.0.
the connection way:
Seeeduino Stalker UartSBee
would thid work with http://www.seeedstudio.com/dep...
I would like to connect this to my PC, to monitor d
Yes, it is .
1. Is this board compatible with XBee Pro modems?
2. Can this board be used to program an Arduino Mini?
3. If I had two (one connected to PC and one connected to Arduino), could I use them to program the Arduino wirelessly?
Hi there, yes it is available. http://www.seeedstudio.com/dep....
Hi the pinouts on the Uart v4 seem to have changed from v2. Can you provide a picture of how this should now connect to the rainbowduino pins. (DTR matches DTR, but GND on the Rainbowduino now matches RX on the Uart...)
Yes???it is not compatible, but you can use jumper wire to connect each other.
Just plug the right pin is ok.
But why don't you directly plug MiniUSB to Rainbowduino?
You can send email to firstname.lastname@example.org, and get the answer.
Can I stack a BEE RF, or BEE bluetooth module with this product so I have... 1. a direct USB connection via cable, and 2. a wireless connection.
Yes, RF Bee and Bluetooth Bee can work on UartSBee, and you should choose Bee module - Standalone for a better control.
Hi, I have a problem with wireless programming the stalker v2.3 with Xbee S2, can be programmed or not. I have looked at a tutorial from Lady Ada but does not work. May be some other tutorials
I'm sorry we don't have a tutorial for wireless programming. Some code need to be modified from adafruit , so maybe you can try more times. Good luck.

The "block diagram" picture does NOT match the new hardware. I have the NEW hardware but do not have complete information. When will you be updating the page with the correct information? THX.
I've redone the block diagram as closely to the new layout as possible, would you like me to send it to you to post here?
Is it possible to use 5v logic from a MCU directly on the TX and RX pin of the UART connection while using an XBee which is not 5v tolerand ?
Hi,of course you can,with a happy day~
It is not clear to me if I can use UartSBee and RF XBee to remotely program and run my Seeeduino board. Is this possible? If it is possible what do I need to purchase? Thanks
Hi Doug McFarlhand. We have done this DIY, so you can use UartSBee and RFbee (Bluetooth Bee is ok).Might we can post this DIY process on our forum.
