How to use a 3-axis digital accelerometer.
3-Axis Digital Accelerometer is the key part in projects like orientation detection, gesture detection and Motion detection. This 3-Axis Digital Accelerometer(±16g) is based on low power consumption IC ADXL345.
In looking at the data sheet for the ADXL-345, it mentions that you can change the I2C address between 0x53 and 0x1D by wiring the SDO pin differently. It doesn't look like there's anyway to do that with this sensor? This is hardcoded to address 0x53?<
Hi Casey gerstle.You can see the file of eagle,the pin of SDO/ALT ADDRESS has been connected to GND,so you can't change it any more.And now the address is 0x53.
Since the i2c address is set at 0x53, would it be possible to connect multiple of these using the same i2c bus?
