Charge/Recharge algorithms built into chip Charge LiPo Battery through solar power or USB Plug-and-play No programming is required JST 2.0 connector
Power your favorite electronic kit with green energy! The LiPo Rider Pro is an enhancement of LiPo Rider. It can supply higher load output than LiPo Rider. The LiPo Rider Pro board allows you ride the solar wave to run your favorite 5V device. The LiPo Rider Pro board is the ideal green power solution for your outdoor sensor design. Attach the LiPo Rider Pro board to your sensor board and it can run on solar power forever! It can also be used to charge mobile phone.
The LiPo Rider Pro is extremely affordable and easy to use. No programming is required. Plug it in and it works. The internal charger IC handles all the power flow between the various components.
In case solar power is not sufficient, the mini USB port allows you to charge your lithium battery through USB. It can also be used to program your kit without detaching the LiPo Rider Pro board.

Hi Pascal~Yes you can use the solar cells to charge the lipo battery. You can use SKU 110060467 if the transport company allows. We really want to provide batteries for you, sir. But due to shipping restrictions, we have all the batteries removed.Sorry for the inconvenience.Regards.
Hi~ According to the test results we've just made, while charging the lipo battery with USB,the current is 160mA.Regards
Hi there, yes, for example, we have the 1.5v chargeable battery, no matter 1000ma capacity or 2000 capacity, we can use the same charger. the only difference is the charging time. thanks.
Hi there, please check below 2 items, 1. please make sure the switch is turned to on side. 2. please make sure 2 usb cables are 4 wires, includes gnd, vcc, dp, dm signals. i tested it successfully. there is no need to add resistors. thanks.
Hello Tom~Yes you can.Please refer to our wiki # http://wiki.seeed.cc/Lipo_Rider_Pro/ # Thanks
Hi,there~Sorry to tell you that: due to hardware limitations, this module do not support 2A.
sorry, the charge is missing. "you can charge 2 lipo" Regards
You read some really really old information. USB 1.0 from 1996 had the 500mA limitation. USB 2.0 raised that to 1.8A in Battery Charging Specification 1.1 from 3/2007 (a decade ago).
