Tip
This product is fully compatible with Raspberry Pi 4 (1GB, 2GB,4GB) and hopes you enjoy hacking with Pi 4 and all of other Pi 4 accessories.
This product does not have audio output. If this is a requirement please consider the ReSpeaker 6-Mic Circular Array Kit For Raspberry Pi, the ReSpeaker 4-Mic Linear Array Kit for Raspberry Pi , or the ReSpeaker Mic Array v2.0.
ReSpeaker 4-Mic Array for Raspberry Pi is a 4 microphone expansion board for Raspberry Pi designed for AI and voice applications. This means that you can build a more powerful and flexible voice product that integrates Amazon Alexa Voice Service, Google Assistant, and so on.
Different from ReSpeaker 2-Mics Pi HAT, this board is developed based on AC108, a highly integrated quad-channel ADC with I2S/TDM output transition for high definition voice capture. Besides, this 4-Mics version provides a super cool LED ring, which contains 12 APA102 programmable LEDs. With that 4 microphones and the LED ring, Raspberry Pi would have ability to do VAD(Voice Activity Detection), estimate DOA(Direction of Arrival) and show the direction via LED ring, just like Amazon Echo or Google Home.
Note
Please note that the package does not contain Raspberry Pi.
Please note that there are no any audio output interfaces on ReSpeaker 4-Mic Array for Raspberry Pi. It is only for voice capture. And you could use the headphone jack on Raspberry Pi for audio output.
Here is a video from Parvinder Yadav, it teaches how to use ReSpeaker 4-Mic Array for Raspberry Pi to make google assistant. We really appreciate Parvinder's contribution to the community and hope this video can be a good help for you.

Yes you can, modify some code of our demo will be ok.
Play back audio in Raspberry Pi, so it dependent on RPi.
Hey Dave. Sorry to hear this. We are speaking with our partners now. I would guess that you can find one by the end of October, but definitely within 2 months.
Hey there Elizabeth, we are looking into this issue now. We will let you know if we find an issue, and if we do, when we resolve it.

It's a 4-mic array for Raspberry Pi, like sound card, but just for voice capture. As I know, MyCroft is based on Raspberry Pi, I think it can work with MyCroft.
Yes, we definitely do!
Yes, sampling in synchronized, and phase-coherent is depend on the source of sound wether in the same distance for all 4 mics
Hi,brian~the array connect to the Raspberry via I2S and I2C. I2S for audio data, and I2C for control signal.Besides, we use SPI for led control.Regards.
Thanks for your feedback. There are is no plan to build a mic array for D21-based Arduino boards.
I am afraid you can not unless you solder jumpers.
Sorry, you can not.You can connect a speaker via the 3.5mm interface of the raspberry.
Thanks for your vedio, we will upload it soon.
Hi Curl~ We have not test lirc now.Could you please tell us more about the Error. We'd like to know whether they have conflict. Please contact our email # techsupport@seeed.cc # Regards.
Hi there~ 1.Please check whether the driver is installed successfully
For the DOA, please refer to http://wiki.seeed.cc/ReSpeaker_4_Mic_Array_for_Raspberry_Pi/#doa-on-respeaker-4-mic-array-for-raspberry-pi. After the keyword, please record the audio and upload to google to do speech to text. thanks.
Hi there~ Could you please specify your question? 7-mic contains a DSP,and it can integrate VOD DoA, and so on.But 4-mic array do not have a DSP on it.Regards
Hi there~ Unfortunately we do not have such case or 3D diagram.Sorry. Regards
Hi there~ Unfortunately, the 4-mic array do not have a speaker. You need to output the voice by Raspberry.Or you can choose the 2-mic hat ### https://www.seeedstudio.com/ReSpeaker-2-Mics-Pi-HAT-p-2874.html ### Regards
Hi there~ Unfortunately,We do not have the ASUS Board, besides we do not provide the drivers for ASUS,so do not recommend to try.
Hi sabrina~ I'm afraid you need to solder wires on the back of Raspberry.Regards

Hi there, it is not supported yet. thanks.
Hi there, grove-oled display will include a cable, you can use that cable to connect with respeaker 4 mic array. you do not need to order separate one. thanks.
ReSpeaker 4-Mic driver has been updated, now support 1) all sample rate, like 8k,16k,32k,44.1k,48k,96k, 2) record mono ,stereo channel. More details please check here: https://github.com/respeaker/seeed-voicecard/releases/tag/v2%2C0
Yes , it is available in NorthAmerica Market .
Hi, ReSpeaker 2-mic and 4-mic not support Android Things yet.

Just to know the energy consumption of the ReSpeaker. On my project I'm using several devices on the RPi. I want to choose the best power supplie, that provides enought current.
Thank you for the answer. I hope it could be fixed till end of this month.. is the git hub link will be updated then if there is some changes for drivers? Thanks.
