View moreI was one of the lucky ones, but I feel that the Seeed version of this module is superior because it has an easy solution for the RTC battery. The OEM NVIDIA version has a poor solution for the RTC battery, requiring a "microscopic" resistor to be soldered on the back-board to establish battery connection. Also, the NVIDIA supplied CAD STEP models do not import correctly into OnShape. Therefore, extra workaround is needed to build a custom case even though the base is rectangular (which should pose no issue in OnShape). I wanted an easy solution for the interface ports instead of opening a wide rectangular slot in the 3D model of the case for my use.
- Matha Goram Excellent product, but better thought should have been given to the placement of a compatible Xiao camera. Right now it is not easy.
- Matha Goram Top layer is opaque. That prevents proper viewing of the LCD display on the Expansion board.
- Matha Goram Didn't realize that a pre-soldered version was available until I had soldered two at my end. Mounts on a carrier board but the top plate of the acrylic enclosure is opaque inhibiting clear viewing of the display on the carrier board. No issue with the Seeeduino Xiao.
- Matha Goram Been using Grove I2C sensors for years, therefore I'm not surprised by high quality of this SKU.
