2KM Long Range RF link kits w/ encoder and decoder

Would you be willing to post the parts used for these circuits on the Wiki page? After connecting these for the first time, the transmitter module failed. The burnt part is a SOT223 (I think), connected to the big solder blob on the transmitter module. I would like to replace the burnt parts. Thank you!

Hi John, thank you for purchasing this product, but very sorry that this is not open hardware product, we also don't have its source files. It is based on PT2272 and PT2262 of typical circuit, you could see its datasheet.

Does RF Transmitter and Receiver able to transmit data (eg.hello) in open space upto 2km. if more than one RF transmiter transmit the data ,does one rf receiver able receiver the data of more than two transmitter at a time

Hi FAHIM, this couple of wireless module is not able to transmit character data, it only used for transmitting HIHG/LOW signal. You could have a look at RFbee or XBee Pro Chip Antenna - S1.

is this transmitter useless for short distance? (3-30m)

No,it isn't. So long as transmitter in a distance more that 1m, it can work.

If 4 push button switches are connected to the transmitter, will the receiver outputs be the same as the transmitter inputs for all 16 combinations of switch states?

Yes, but when you are transmitting 0 (all inputs low), nothing is transmitted. But on the output is also 0.
