At Seeed Studio, we’ve always believed that the most powerful technologies are the ones that end up in the hands of the community to solve real-world problems. That’s why we are incredibly proud to be one of the official sponsors of the Fab City Awards 2026.
And the award is now open for submission!
Collective Action for a Regenerative Urban Future
This year’s theme, “Collective Action for a Regenerative Urban Future,” highlights projects that integrate design, technology, and civic engagement; bridge scientific knowledge and local know-how; translate insights into scalable, place-based solutions; and connect global networks with local implementation.
The programme is powered by Fab City, with support from Seeed Studio, Fab Foundation, and Ibero Puebla, creating a global platform for projects that transform local action into scalable urban solutions.
We are looking for implemented and tested initiatives that empower communities, restore ecosystems, and apply sustainable technologies aligned with the Fab City 2054 vision.

Which Fab City Awards 2026 category fits your project?
This annual program recognises implemented and piloted initiatives in the following categories, and compete for the Overall Impact Award.
- Community: initiatives that strengthen participation, organization and local empowerment.
- Technology: accessible and meaningful distributed technologies with social value.
- Nature: projects focused on conservation, restoration and ecosystem protection.
4 winners will each receive financial prizes, hardware support, mentoring, lab access opportunities, and a free ticket to present at Fab26 in Boston.
