USB Infrared Toy v2

Hi. I'm willing to buy one, but need to known the exact PCB dimensions (length & width) to buy a case at the same time (live abroad, in europe, so i've to avail shipment cost). Thanks.

Is anyone home…? Finding hard to get my question answered, which, btw, should be explicitly mentioned on product description.

Hi everybody, before ordering this fancy toy for my linux-htpc, I`d love to solve the case question first, since I`d love to use a "Sick of Beige" Case for it. From the photos it looks like as if the necessary spaces for the screws is not available, so is there a way to order a personalized board thats exactly the same, except its compatible with a sick of beige case? I`d spend a couple of bucks extra of course.

Hi Oliver, this board is designed by dangerous team, we do also not provide this service, but since this is a open source hardware product, i think if you really want to make one compatible with sick of beige case, you could make a pcb yourself refer to its schematic.

Where can I find one? Can I buy the variant already in case?

Vadim, while it's a bit larger than necessary (about TWICE what's needed), I found the following holds the IRToy perfectly SIDEWAYS: http://www.allelectronics.com/make-a-store/item/MB-131/ABS-PROJECT-BOX-2.51-X-1.73-X-1.25/1.html I cut a notch for the USB on one side, and drilled holes for the IR Emitter and Sensors: http://i50.tinypic.com/2qitwnp.jpg http://i48.tinypic.com/2ewgmxl.jpg By the way, that small plug cuts off the IR Emitter, in favor of wired IR Emitters (I use the twin emitters from an old TiVo).

Can I use this IR to send signals from my PC to any reciver like TV or Blu-ray? If so, does this works with lirc(linux)? it's just clone the signals and them use to fake the remote control?
