Description

Hello, I have been trying to make this reader to work with my Arduino (Uno or Mega) with my company security card from HID (format H10301 at 125Khz) but I cannot read anything, anyone from here had successfull reading with HID card?

I am using the 125kHz 5-tag sample pack and neither this module or the mini-LF module can read any of the tags with the sample code from the wikipedia and the github repository. Please advise...

Hi there, I suspect you use the arduino uno D0/D1 for serial print and rf module communication as well. it is conflict. so please use the D2/D3 for rf module communication and D0/D1 for serial monitoring. thanks. #include <SoftwareSerial.h> SoftwareSerial mySerial(2, 3); // RX, TX void setup() { // Open serial communications and wait for port to open: Serial.begin(9600); while (!Serial) { ; // wait for serial port to connect. Can this reader ready multiple RF tags at one time? The EAS tags for anti-theft purpose.

BTW,card can’t be read again within the range of read antenna after read once. User must move it out of reading antenna range first, swipe card again & can be read.

Will this read the tags that are implanted in pets (US based)?

Hey alanv73 I can confirm that this works with implantable chips, I have one in my hand and one in my dog, both work with this reader. however I know there are some proprietary chips out there such as the avid brand which i havent tested, so your mileage may vary
