The red line laser is a bright laser, and works on 5VDC. Be cautions when connecting/controlling it with an MCU, as it can draw up to 40mA. Arduino can JUST handle it, so I recommend switching it with a mosfet or transistor, or whatever else you have h

You can use this laser as an spot type laser if you remove the lens. It work well.
but if we remove the lens can it be focussable then?
