AVRISP2.0 STK500 programmer communicates with PC via USB port, and it works with most of PC & notebook computers.

  • It can support a wide range of ATMEL AVR microcontroller.

  • It can works with AVR Studio or WINAVR(GCC)

Note: It is Chinese version with PL2303(USB to Serial)

I have 3 pcs ATMEGA8 MCU but it have bad fuse settings and not working for new program loading .Can I fixing fusing setting with this programmer ?If yes please describe me here too?regards

I'm able to read the device signature, erase, flash and read/write the EEPROM but not able to read the fuses and lockbits. Is that supposed to work ?

ok my bad. The chip I'm currently using (AT90S8515) doesn't suppport ISP fuses and lockbits setting.

Thank you for answering, but not matter COM you choose, it is impossible to establish connection. BTW, driver is working correctly, therefore I insist that the device is not recognized as a STK500 compatible. So there is no way to use it with AVRStudio

No , it not a Atmel ship reader , it is used for programming Atmel AVR ship via ISP port .

I was wondering if this can be used to program an ATmega1284P (it's not on the list of supported AVRs). I tried the USBtinyISP from Adafruit and that doesn't work (has an known and acknowledged bug/limitation).Thanks.

Dear customer, you need to know we just confirm that is work with AVRs, so we can't promise you can use it with your board. Base on Adafruit USB tinyISP, I think it would not success to program your board.

For this module you pretty much have to have a PCB that you solder it onto. See the Eagle library for the PCB footprint. If you want to solder to it, you should get the Bluetooth Bee version, which has all the pins pulled out. There's also the Grove ve
