This is a unique ring - it has a florid body with 24 controllable LEDs. Maybe it will drive the inspiration out of you to make a glowing magic ring! There is a 1*1 square hollow-out in the middle of this module, where you can place a Grove - Encoder in and make it a rotary visual encoder!

The square hole in the middle is what I was initially trying to figure out. It says 1x1 above, and I'm not sure if that's supposed to be in cm or not, but the encoder's dimensions are stated as 20x20mm. Further, I can't see how the ring diameter on thi
The square in the center is 1.5 cm x 1.5 cm. Please read my comment above about trying to use these displays with the 16 MHz or slower Arduinos. They work just fine with the faster 260 MHz LinkIt ONE board.

From looking at the MY9221 data sheet, it looks like this device ought to work on 3.3V. Has anyone operated one at 3.3V?
Several of these would make a great addition to a "wearable" project.
