PRODUCT DETAILS

The Grove - OLED Display 1.12'' V2 is a little elegant screen that can add a screen interaction feature to your Arduino. With the onboard 4-pin I2C Grove connector, you can plug-and-play with the screen and Arduino in no time.

This is the second version of our Grove - OLED Display 1,12'', it uses I2C interface. Compared with the Grove - OLED Display 1.12'', the Grove - OLED Display 1.12'' V2 is a monochrome display which means do not support 16 grayscale anymore. However, the removal of the gray level support increases the pixel speed by factor 4. In other words, the gray level support was exchanged for a huge performance boost. Additionally, the max I2C bus speed was increased from 100KHz (old 96x96) to 200KHz (V2). So all in all the new 128x128 display has an 8 times higher pixel speed, making it a super fast high-resolution display compared to the older one.

    Easy to use display
U8g2 Arduino Library recently added support for this display. It easily connects to the Grove world and works out of the box.

    No Grayscale
I ordered this one because it was written "16 grayscale". But there is no grayscale possible with this one. Chip is SH1107G which has no grayscale option. See the data sheet, page 4: "Grayscale 1 bit". Wrong advertising!!
