This product was replaced by a updated version XBee Shield V2.0 (SLD01103P).
A Xbee shield allows an Arduino board to communicate wirelessly using Zigbee. It is based on the Xbee module from MaxStream. The module can communicate up to 100 feet indoors or 300 feet outdoors (with line-of-sight). It can be used as a serial/USB replacement or you can put it into a command mode and configure it for a variety of broadcast and mesh networking options. The shields breaks out each of the Xbee's pins to a through-hole solder pad.

I am using SEEEDUINO 2.21 board on that i am using XBEE Shield it does not work out when same XBEE i communicated with simple serial board it work out but not with XBEE shield help me plz if any user manual.Question by: admin on 2018-12-18 02:42:01
1. Try to supply 3~3.3v power to check LEDs, make sure there are work find.
2. You can solder some point, after transport may crack.Answer by: admin on 2018-12-18 02:42:02
Its is visible but not understandable to how use this switches and one thing it is written need to solder the jumper for request to flow control. what type of flow control its not clear to understand plz help me i need to run this modules if any user MQuestion by: admin on 2018-12-18 02:41:51
1. You mean without Arduino compiler???That is only way to change the code what is in the rainbowduino.
And Arduino is in the rainbowduino, that is why we call it this name.

Yes , it can be used with Arduino Mircro, but it only connect to Arduino Micro with SPI interface, so only D11 and D12 for communication with Xbee Moudle.
I have one of these shields and I want to use it with my motor shield which is one of the newer ones. How do I interface this board to my Arduino with the Motor shield on my Arduino as well? I have the uno model of the Arduino.
No that is not the one I am talking about. I am talking about this one:
I am planning to use this with a Seeeduino v 2.21. On the wiki page it says the seeeduinos voltage switch must be set to 3,3v. However my solution needs this to be at 5v. What should I do?
Hi,i am sorry that it would work under 3.3v only.
One way can check LED work find or not.Use a jumper wire to supply power for LEDs that can easy to know it is pcb broke or LEDs.
Anyway you can attach your photo and problem to our forum that would be more people can help you.:P
I am working on SEEEDUINO 2.21 board i did the soldering for UART 6 pin berg strip on I/o borad and 6 pin Flow solder on XBEE shield,On shiled i have put 1st switch to left and 2nd to right. On I/o board reset on Auto and Voltage to 3.3v. while i have
Suggest you solder your PCB carefully, could be poor connect. Check your LEDs legs might be week solder.
And about clips, we can give you some more, you can consider to buy some more product together then send all of those to you.

I'm new to arduino and I'm a bit confused. Can I use the shield with an arduino, and without a module (bluetooth, etc.) or do I also need to buy a module? I'm just experimenting for the moment so I don't want to purchase any unnecessary modules.
This shield has shut down, and this shield is just a platform for Xbee modules, you need buy some Xbee modules(like BTRFwifi bee) if you wanna use them with Arduino.
I bought one of these at Radioshack, and have a couple of questions.
Will this xbee shield work with a OEM Arduino UNO that runs 5Volt?
Are the pins N$3,N$4, etc on the same header as D0,D1 used for anything or just used to secure the modul
Hi Mark, thanks for your feedback, we will check it and reply you soon.
I have 2 questions, does this shield needs the arduino to work?? or can work withdraw it??
Is it compatible to a Atmel Microcontroler that has the arduino program in it??
Hi,Yes,this shield needs the arduino to work.but you will work in arduino better. enjoy~~
I purchased this at Radio Shack to program my 2 RFBEE's to control the Relay Shield, Purchased form here also. I have an Arduino Uno and an Arduino Mega, How do i Write to the ATmega on the RFBEE with this Shield? how do i Utilize the Relay shield with
Hi,if you want to connect RFBEE to Relay shield, you can plug RF on Relay shield derectly without Xbee@shield,more information you can refer to the wiki of relay shield. And you can program RFBEE through UartSB,but it is not convenient to program RFBEE w
