Grove - Water Sensor detects the presence of water using exposed PCB traces. The sensor is made up of interlaced traces of Ground and Sensor signals. The sensor traces are weakly pulled up using 1 MΩ resistor. The resistor will pull the sensor trace value high until a drop of water shorts the sensor trace to the ground trace. This circuit will work with digital I/O pins of Arduino or you can use it with the analog pins to detect the amount of water induced contact between the grounded and sensor traces.
For all Grove users (especially beginners), we provide you guidance PDF documents. Please download and read through Preface - Getting Started and Introduction to Grove before your using of the product.

Please let me know whether the Water sensor input can be connected to my CC2530 SoC (Microcontroller) ADC pin. And also let me know how to interpret the voltage levels on the input pin. What is the maximum voltage level on the input?
Do you have
The LiPo charger and 5V inverter are wired in parallel, so while there is power available the battery will be charged and the load will be supplied by the source. If the supply voltage drops too low, the battery will be discharged to provide the requir
buying this sensor, is included the connector cable?
Mine came with the cable
may anybody provide me with basic wiring digram for this sensor on a breadboard to arduino
Did you ever get this figured out? I'm also using to power an Xbee. Thanks for any advice!
I ordered this but I don't see it in the software.
This Mega is using mega2560.
How can I use this sensor outdoor as a rain detector for example. For all these sensors (light sensor or moisture sensor for example), what is the best way to protect the connector part and let the sensor part outdoorthanks
Dear customer, It is out of stock now. And it is $43.00. You can see the price is on the top. I'm not sure what you want activated? More question you can go to our forum to post.
is there a larger version of this sensor so i can detect water a larger coverage.?is this sensor can detect other liquids such as beer, milk, chemical, alcoholic drinks, oil, and juices and carbonated drinks
Hi there, It is fit with DSO Quad.
