Description
Raspberry Pi Camera Module V2 is a new official camera board released by Raspberry Pi Foundation. It carries an 8 megapixel Sony IMX219 image sensor which has a great performance in catching the high resolution of images and videos. The image sensor can output up to 3280x2464 pixel static images ,1080p30, 720p60 and 640x480p90 video.
For the interface that connects the board, Raspberry Pi Camera has the standard CSI(Camera Serial Interface) which can be compatible with most of SBCs or Dev boards like Raspberry Pi 4, NVIDIA Jetson Nano and Raspberry Pi Zero, etc. But you need a Camera Cable for Raspberry Pi Zero to adapt the Pi Zero to this camera. As a matter of fact, the Raspberry Pi Camera has wide compatibility.

Authentic Raspberry Pi camera. This Raspberry Pi camera is not the cheapest or greatest picture quality, but the size and hole placement works with almost any Pi camera mount you find around here. Authentic Raspberry Pi camera.

Great value, easy to use.A great value, works great, straight forward to use with Raspberry Pi or Jetson Nano.

What I expectedThe Raspberry Pi Camera Module V2 arrived on time in great condition. The camera works when run through a Python program and does display the image to the display output port only.
-
works great, high resolution, clear picturesThis camera was easy to add to my 3D printer setup. I have a raspberry pi running OctoPi, and I was able to install this camera in a snap. It was a little pricey but it was name brand.

If you need a surveillance camera this is great.I chose this camera for my 3d printer enclosure. Using a USB webcam directly loads all video being recorded through the CPU. For my needs this Raspberry Pi camera was the better choice even though it was 4x the price of a cheap USB webcam
