    Description

    Dear Friends,

We are sincerely sorry to inform you that the shipment of ReSpeakers is delayed. They are still being reworked, we are trying our best to ship them all as soon as possible.

During our last round of Quality Test in December 2016, we found some of the LED components on the PCBs have been subjected to damp. Consequently, in order to ensure the quality of the product, all theReSpeaker Cores and ReSpeaker Mic Arrays were sent back to rework.

Once again, we are sorry for the delay and any inconvenience this has caused.

    Thank you for your understanding.

    Best regards,

    ReSpeaker Team

The ReSpeaker Mic Array can be stacked (connected) right onto the top of ReSpeaker Core to significantly improve the voice interaction experience. It is developed based on the XVSM-2000 Smart Microphone from XMOS. The board integrates 7 PDM microphones to help enhance ReSpeaker's acoustic DSP performance to a much higher level. With the Mic Array attached onto the top of the ReSpeaker Core, ReSpeaker is now able to:

How? It has invalid setup file on Windows. It can't be setup on Windows 8+. Really suck!!! No reply from these developers/founders/programmers. It should have a step by step how to setup on Linux /Windows...

Does that mean I could connect it via the usb interface to an raspberry pi directly, for example? I guess the necessary drivers are not (yet) released? Will there be drivers for the mic array alone?

Hi All, I have multiple questions:1) Can you please provide schematic of this board.2) i have read we can connect this board with respeaker core board. what are the advantages, in which orientation we need to connect because we can physically connect in both orientation, 3) any startup code for this. ThanksSudhanshu

Does ReSpeaker Mic array alone support all features like noise suppression etc when it is connected directly (via usb?) to Raspberry Pi as microphone?

Will the mic output the raw sound source position? What other comms are available to the board - I2C, SPI etc?

if you look at wiki https://github.com/respeaker/get_started_with_respeaker/wiki/Mic-Array at the protocol excel file, it has a voice angle 0-350 value. I assume I2C or Serial will be present (in addition to usb)
