I just received my Shield Bot today. It is hardware version 0.9b. Looking at the wiki, it seems that it is 2 versions out of date (V1.0 and V1.1 are shown in wiki). I was expecting the latest version. Is version 0.9b what is currently shipping or did I
Currently, we have sold two version: V0.9 and V1.0. V1.1 are in Production. The Shield Bot V1.0 is the upgrade version of Shield Bot V0.9. We just change its structure.They are same in hardware.
s there a document describing the electronics on the shield (motor drivers, other components)? Also, what pins on the shield are active? Some of the pins must be dedicated to controlling the motors, but I can't find any information.
The resources part in the wiki contains all documents that allow you to more in-depth comprehend the product.
On the Wiki page, there is a link to a video (on Youku.com), but this video isn't displaying properly. Is there a working demo video of this Bot somewhere? Thanks!
OK, well, the problem was that the "Youku" link went to some random 36-minute video that was not related to the ShieldBot.
My Mega has Female socket. There are no pictures with an Arduino mounted.Since the male pins are on the bottom of the robot, is that where the Arduino fits?I would think there is no clearance for that?I am still confused, since I could not

So, the Robot Shield has Female connectors?Do you have to use male headers to connect to the Female connectors on theArduino? Upside Down?
The Shield Bot has long male+female headers. The male headers extend through to the bottom, so you plug in your Arduino on the bottom (see wiki for pictures). The female headers are for stacking additional shields on top.
I have the Mega2569, will it fit or hang over? It is probably too big?Will pins match for proper operation?
