Important Announcement: Helium Award Is Now Added to Seeed’s “IoT Into the Wild Contest for Sustainable Planet 2022” & Extended Deadline for Free Hardware Application!

Funded by Helium, ‘Helium Award’ is designed to select 11 winners in total. With this addition of ‘Helium Award’, we’ve decided to extend the deadline of the free hardware application until August 8, 2022 at 23:59 P.M. (PT).

We’re happy to announce that ‘Helium Award’ is now added to Seeed’s open source innovation contest – “IoT Into the Wild Contest for Sustainable Planet 2022”. Funded by Helium, ‘Helium Award’ is designed to select 11 winners in total, who used Helium’s The People’s Network for their project implementation and documentation for this Contest:
1 Winner Will Get:
i) Financial Support of USD $2,500 for Visiting Helium’s On-Site Event and Becoming a Speaker at the Event to Present Your Project On-Stage
ii) USD $100 in DC
iii) Dedicated Console Account (Access to Unlimited Connection of Devices + Technical Support)
10 Winners Will Get:
i) Helium Data Credits (Value of USD $50 for Each Person)
ii) Project Spotlight at Helium Hacks Happy Hour
iii) USD $50 in DC
iv) Dedicated Console Account (Access to Unlimited Connection of Devices + Technical Support)
With this addition of ‘Helium Award’, we’ve decided to extend the deadline of the free hardware application until August 8, 2022 at 23:59 P.M. (PT), so as to encourage more people from the Helium community to apply for the Helium Award. So far, we’ve received 124 free hardware applications, along with 350+ people registered as the Contest participants. Currently, we have 50 Kits of free hardware (‘SenseCAP K1100 – The Sensor Prototype Kit with with LoRa® and AI’) left for upcoming project applicants.
Next week, we’re going to announce the 3rd batch of hardware winners (the final 4th batch announcement will be in August)! Now, for those who are not yet registered to this Contest or haven’t submitted your project ideas to apply for the free hardware yet, register to join the Contest, and submit your project ideas ASAP to get the free hardware!
