Why are NRE fees?
NREs, or Non-Recurring Engineering fees, refer to one-time charges to design, develop, and produce a new product. It roughly divided into three categories; tooling fees, programming fees, and documentation fees. Note: NRE is a one-time cost, if you place orders again with the same customization requirements in the future, then no need to pay NRE fees again.

Rework fee
Why is there a "Rework Fee" for customized versions of standard Seeed products? A: At Seeed Studio, our standard products are manufactured using highly optimized, automated production lines to ensure efficiency and quality. When you request a customized version (such as custom laser engraving, component changes, or firmware flashing), we must manually "divert" these units from the standard flow.
