Great for remote teaching! Watch out for the old versionI've been teaching remote Intro to Arduino classes with this kit successfully. Eliminating wiring problems is key, as it's hard to help students remotely with this.

Super awesome way to get started with Arduino.This is definitely the best way to get started with Arduino. I bought 3 of these kits for my 16 year old son, my 13 year old daughter, and their 10 year old cousin who comes to my home after school every day.

Really good for learningThe grove beginner kit both cheaper and has many components, the online learning resource is nice and well presented.

Highly, highly recommended.With multiple small projects to create this is great for learning purposes. The little arts and crafts that you can do can be fun for both children and adults, but unless you have a bunch of arduino boards already you won't be able to keep these finished projects around.
