How to choose a gas sensor ?
Grove – Multichannel Gas sensor is a environment detecting sensor with a built in MiCS-6814 which can detect many unhealthy gases. 3 gases can be measured simultaneously due to its three channels, so it can help you to monitor the concentration of more than one gas.
This sensor belongs to the Grove system, and you can plug it onto the Base shield and work with Arduino directly without any jumper wires. The interface is I2C, so plug it onto the I2C port of Base shield, then you can start to work on it.

I try to connect this module to Wio Tracker GPS, using the provided multi-channel gas library. I found out that the board (the Wio Tracker) stop working. the loop function stop working when gas.begin() is used. when comment it out. it start working again. Hi Nick~Theoretically you can use it with LCPExpresso.However we only privode library for Arduino.I am not sure the Arduino Library is compatible with LPCXpresso IDE.If not you need to write the library yourself.I recommend you use Seeeduino V4.2 with this sensor.It will be simple and easy.RegardsAnswer by: admin on 2018-12-18 02:30:23
I've two Multichannel Gas Sensor and no one talk with MKR1000. First guess is oriented to the I2C voltage level of the MKR that's 3.3V so I've tried with a Seeeduino 4.2: first a 5V and all was good, then i switched at 3.3V and tried again... the Gas Sensor works again!
