Grove - Temperature Sensor uses a thermistor to measure ambient temperature. The resistance of thermistor changes based on ambient temperature. This resistance value alters the output of a voltage divider which is measured by an analog input pin and converted to a temperature value. The operating range is -40 to 125°C , with an accuracy of 1.5°C .
For all Grove users (especially beginners), we provide you guidance PDF documents. Please download and read through Preface - Getting Started and Introduction to Grove before your using of the product.

Grove - Temperature Sensor
The Grove - Temperature Sensor uses a Thermistor to detect the ambient temperature. The resistance of a thermistor will increase when the ambient temperature decreases. It's this characteristic that we use to calculate the ambient temperature. The detecta
Hi Terry, I only need to know the properties and origin of this function to adapt it to my ADC settings (12 bits and 3,3V as VCC). I think that this sensor is generic sensor and it can be used with different platforms and ADC configurations. For this,Question by: admin on 2018-12-18 02:39:07
The Vref value of seeeduino is 5V and Seeeduino is a 10 bit ADC. If you select other microcontroller, you can set ADC. There is a Grove - I2C ADC using to get more precise value, you can have a try.Answer by: admin on 2018-12-18 02:39:07

We took your code from the project seven website wiki into the arduino and I'm not able, to reach over lets say an outputabove 45 to 50?°C.
Have you ever made a test above the 50?°C?

I changed the NTC meanwhile and checked the NTC that was on the boards, they seem to be 5K not 10K, not very shure. Now I use 10 K NTC without the LM, but this works good now.Answer by: admin on 2018-12-18 02:39:07
Can you confirm the part number of the thermistor please (or the B value)?
The graph in the data sheet is for the TTC3A103#34D, but the B value in the sample is for the TTC3A103#39H.Question by: admin on 2018-12-18 02:39:07

I'm looking for the temperature equation for the v1.1 of this. I get that the B value has changed from the sample but the equation on the SeeedStudio github produces clearly absurd results (raw value comes in at around 520-530 for room temperature).<Question by: admin on 2018-12-18 02:39:06
Sorry for the delayed reply. We have updated the wiki for V1.1/V1.2 and the new equation provides correct value.Answer by: admin on 2018-12-18 02:39:06

Hello.. I am trying to use this sensor with Intel Edison and write python code. I received it as part of relayr IoT starter kit. Which software python library should I use to access this sensor's reading? I have libmraa 1.4 installed, but it does not have pyupm_temperature module. I tried using otp538u module, but it prints an error saying 'ambient temperature out of range'. Could you please respond to this query.Question by: admin on 2018-12-18 02:23:28
Please refer the Intel Edison python code of Grove Temperature Sensor from the following link: https://software.intel.com/en-us/iot/hardware/sensors/grove-temperature-sensor.Answer by: admin on 2018-12-18 02:23:28
When using the temperature sensor with the Grove IoT Commercial Developer Kit, room temperature Celcius is 50. Farenheit is 120. The raw value is 757 (varies). These are obviously incorrect. I have the temp sensor plugged into A1 and am using Node-Red. I thought it would be seamless using the Intel NUC. What am I missing?Question by: admin on 2018-12-18 02:23:18
I'm using the Grove Shield that came with the Dev kit set to the 5V side.
There is no code. I'm using the IoT Developer Hub, Node-Red definition with the following settings:
