It has been two and a half years since the Seeed Ranger Program 2.0 began. What a journey it has been! Last year, we focused on connecting more local communities worldwide. This year, we went even deeper: expanding into education, strengthening technical support, improving access to hardware, and creating more ways for local innovators to learn, build, and grow.
At Seeed Studio, our mission is make technology accessible to everyone. With our strengths in AI hardware design, R&D, and agile manufacturing, the Ranger Program is built to empower makers who inspire innovation in their own communities. Rangers are not just ambassadors; they are co-builders. They share knowledge, spark new ideas, and help develop the next wave of tech pioneers around the world.
And this year, their impact truly expanded.
A Year of Growth, Learning, and Connection
We are beyond proud to say: we made great things happen, and it wouldn’t have been possible without our Rangers.
This year, 18 passionate Rangers led and joined more than 40 events across the globe. From workshops and hackathons to exhibitions and symposiums, they brought together over 3,000 participants who care deeply about TinyML, AI, IoT, Edge Computing, Meshtastic, LoRaWAN, robotics, and more.
Participants explored everything from fundamental hands-on learning to building real-world solutions for their local communities, whether it was a smart health monitor, an environmental sensing system, sustainable agriculture tools, or community-driven IoT networks. The Ranger Program continues to prove that when the right tools and knowledge reach the right people, meaningful innovation follows.

This year also marked the first Interactive Signage Contest, together with 180 makers from 17 countries, resulting in 156 incredible submissions, each one showing signs to life with sound, light, motion, and more.
What’s Interactive Signage? It’s not just about displaying information; it’s about sharing it in a creative, dynamic, and interactive way that connects people with their surroundings. These projects showed how interactive signage can reshape the way we communicate, navigate, and experience our spaces.
There’re 4 Rangers join the challenge, with 1 Ranger winning the third prize.
Beyond participating themselves, they also encouraged local makers to try something better help with their daily life, such as Real-Time Digital Information Display, Gesture-Tilt Controlled Bicycle-Bike Indicator, AI-Powered Traffic Light Detection for Real-Time Signage, An Interactive Approach For Neuromuscular Patients, etc.
Rangers are encouraging more than 35 makers bringing fresh energy and creativity into their communities.
Maker Faire Shenzhen, one of the world’s most influential maker events, was another highlight of the year.
We welcomed 9 Rangers onsite, showcasing projects from multiple industries, including smart farming, interactive signage, smart village solutions, and playful entertainment systems.
In addition to exhibitions, Rangers also hosted workshops, covering TinyML, meshtastic, delivered keynote speeches, and connected with creators from all over the world. Their presence made the event more vibrant, diverse, and inspiring.
What's the next?
This past year has been remarkably fruitful, marked by collaboration and breakthroughs. And we know this is only the beginning.
Next year, we hope to bring even more Rangers together, deepen our global connections, not only by sharing AI technology, but also by guiding community members, organizations, and companies to deploy real solutions, and continue empowering communities with open technology.
Stay tuned—more exciting things are on the way!
