Seeed Tiny nRF51822 - nRF51822 + 6DOF Mbed Platform is a Bluetooth Low Energy development board designed with low energy consumption and small size in mind. It's integrated with current measurement feature to provide real time energy consumption data, which is essential for developers to optimize software to design long battery life devices. It supports ARM mbed cloud-based IDE with an handy C/C++ SDK and a large number of open source libraries, which makes prototyping and development extremely easy.
With its modular design, we can divide it into two parts - CMSIS DAP interface part and BLE part. The CMSIS DAP interface part is like the Swiss army knife. It provides drag-n-drop programming, CMSIS DAP debug, USB virtual serial port, current measurement and battery charging. The BLE part is built on the Nordic nRF51822 with Bluetooth Low Energy 2.4GHz multiprotocol radio and a 32 bit ARM Cortex-M0 core running 16MHz. MPU6050, a 6 DOF with 3D accelerometer and 3D gyroscope, is integrated to provide motion detect feature.

Wiki of Tiny BLE
Too good To the best of my knowledge, yours is the only cmsis-dap programmer available that give me the capability of the RedBear Labs MK-20 in a breakout form. Fantastic. Unfortunately, I feel bad buying this and clipping/discarding the actually tiny ble, for which I have no use. I also find the battery charging useless because the specific choice of just connector is really tiny and nonstandard relative to LiPo's purchased on most sites.
Given the rise of tiny mcu's such as the Nordic line that are dap programmable, I think you might sell a bunch of units of a stripped down version that is just a breakout with the barebones programmer.
What is the name of the connector for the battery and/or does anybody know a link to a lipo battery with a connector that fits the connector of Tiny BLE ?Question by: admin on 2018-12-18 02:23:29
Nicolae, it looks like this is a JST SH connector (SR is also compatible with SH), but I don't have one in-hand to be certain. Curiously, Seeed doesn't sell a battery with this connector, but there are places you can get the connector with a wire tail and splice it onto a LiPo.Answer by: admin on 2018-12-18 02:23:29
