Seeeduino Cloud is a microcontroller board based on Dragino WiFi IoT module HE and ATmega32u4. HE is a high performance, low cost 150M, 2.4G WiFi module which means “core” in Chinese and with an Open Source OpenWrt system inside. Seeeduino Cloud is also an Arduino compatible board, 100% compatible with Grove, shield and IDEs(Arduino IDE 1.5.3 and later). Except for the normal interface of Arduino, Seeeduino Cloud has built-in Ethernet and WiFi support, a USB-A port which makes it very suitable for those prototype design that needs network connection and mass storage. It is also a good idea to make Seeeduino Cloud to an IoT gateway.

      Questions and Answers

Has anyone used the USB2.0 slot for a thumb drive? That can be mapped (mounted) in OpenWrt on my YUN.

Yes. As mentioned above you can use the USB 2.0 SanDisk Cruzer Low Profile thumb drive + the overlay-only script from the linino archive on github. This expands your OpenWrt partition across the thumb drive. Sketches and Linux have full access to everything. However if you do this your thumb drive becomes a permanent part of the board. You dont really need that USB port for anything else.

<p>hi Jason, as you can see on the pictures it doesn't seem to have one on the board :-/ <br>yet you get up to 64MB of Flash(NAND) spece (minus the OS FileSystem place of course ) for any datalogging feature if it's your intent. <br>just be aware that NAN

I personally use the $6 SanDisk Cruzer Low Profile thumb drive and use the overlay-only script to extend the Linux OS and storage size to include the thumb drive size.
