We’re thrilled to announce the launch of the XIAO Showdown, an exciting developer competition that we co-hosted together with Silicon Labs, Mouser Electronics, and Pico Technology!
Why XIAO Showdown?
At Seeed Studio, we’ve always believed in the power of open-source hardware and the incredible creativity of our developer community.
The Seeed Studio XIAO MG24 Sense, our compact yet powerful development board powered by Silicon Labs‘ EFR32MG24 SoC (featuring a high-performance 78MHz ARM Cortex®-M33 core), is a developer–friendly dev board with Matter® native over Thread® and Bluetooth® Low Energy 5.3, all supported by the Arduino® Core. With 4MB Flash onboard, 19 GPIOs, LED, and charging circuit onboard, it boasts extremely low operating current and ultra-low-power modes, making it an ideal choice for IoT applications, especially battery-powered projects utilizing Matter® protocols. Additionally, the onboard analog microphone and six-axis IMU sensors make XIAO MG24 Sense a great fit for TinyML applications such as posture detection.
Now, we’re taking it to the next level by partnering with industry leaders to create a platform where developers can showcase their talents and push the boundaries of what’s possible.

How to Participate?
- Get your XIAO MG24 Sense if you haven’t already from either Mouser or any other place you prefer (Seeed Webstore Bazaar, or Seeed AliExpress Store)
- Develop your innovative project idea
- Submit your project through the official competition page

Deadline to enter is October 31, 2025 at 11 p.m. Central Time
Winner announced November 7, 2025
