Hyper-Local Weather Monitoring for Agricultural Infrastructure
A farmer in Am Mellensee, Germany turned to hyper-local weather monitoring after a storm damaged his biogas plant silo and an insurance claim was denied due to lack of localized data. By deploying a SenseCAP S2120 LoRaWAN Weather Station directly on the silo, the project enables site-specific wind and environmental monitoring—providing verifiable evidence, improving infrastructure protection, and supporting data-driven climate resilience in agriculture.
