This solar panel is made of single-crystal material that performs high solar energy transformation efficiency at 17%. It has a fine resin surface and sturdy back suitable for outdoor environments. The typical open circuit voltage is around 5V, depending on light intensity. In those bright summer days with clear sky and big sun, the peak OC voltage can rush up to 10V. To prevent any damage to boards that accept a narrow range of input voltage, like Lipo Rider, it’s recommended to check whether the OC voltage is safe before any connection.

Really good solar panel work fine and we can adapt them to many IOT tools easily (2mm JST power connector )
These panels generally come in good shape. About 1 in 100 we find a panel the positive and negative leads in the connector have been reversed. They hold up fairly well exposed to the sun and elements 24/7/365. They develop internal bubbles in very hot conditions, such as testing inside in a lab under incandescent lamps. In hot dry desert locations they will also develop internal bubbles. We have not seen a performance degradation from this.

Hi, I am working on a box containing an arduino that controls a bunch of other devices (such as an ADC, air pump and a sensor).
