This 3-axis Accelerometer module is based on MMA7660FC with Digital Output I2C. This Module can be used for sensing data changes, product orientation, and gesture detection through an interrupt pin (INT).It is a very low power, low profile capacitive MEMS sensor.
Features
Grove compatible interface
3 axis motion/orientation sensing
Digital Output (I2C)
10,000 g shock survival
RoHS/WEEE lead-free compliant
5VDC input
Application Ideas
Motion Detection of Robot
Mobile Phone/ PMP/PDA: Orientation Detection (Portrait/Landscape),Image Stability, Text Scroll, Motion Dialing, Tap to Mute
For all Grove users (especially beginners), we provide you guidance PDF documents. Please download and read through Preface - Getting Started and Introduction to Grove before your using of the product.

Portable LED color stick reacts to your shaking motion. With extra fan and alarm.
This article describes how to get the BeagleBone Green working as a device controlled from your mobile phone that can send back status updates (position and attitude) to the controller.
Do you remember the Snake game? It's very simple, but funny. We build a snake game with Rainbowduino, LED Matrix and 3-axis Accelerometer. It's controlled by gravity.
3-Axis Digital Accelerometer is the key part in projects like orientation detection, gesture detection and Motion detection. This 3-Axis Digital Accelerometer(±1.5g) is based on Freescale’s low power consumption module, MMA7660FC.

Product Faqs
do you get it works with arduino Due ???I don't get it works
thanks, sorry me english
The problem was that the "setRtcTime();" line was commented in the RX8025.cpp, so i uncomment the line to set the time and then i comment again to mantaint it.
I have another question, How can I wake up the Stalker at determinated hour with the R

I just tried such a program; and still receive nonsense from the serial monitor. What should I do now?
HiI'm doing a project where I want to use two Grove - 3-Axis Digital Accelerometer and then calulate which accelerometer gets the highest value. The problem is that they have the same Slave Adresse. Anything I can do?
The words said on the Data sheet: The device has a factory set I2C slave address which is normally 1001100 (0x4C). Contact the factory to request a different I2C slave address. I'm sorry we don't have method how to change the slave address, maybe you c
I just got this Acc, and I want to hook it up to my arduino, I too was hoping for a ADXL345 but I have selected this instead. :D
Hi,you can use jumper wire to conncet Grove to your Arduino.SDA--A4,SCL--A5,VCC--5V.GND--GND.
The code in the wiki does not work. What arrived to me also looks different than the module that is pictured. I had the older version, which looks like the pictured one, and it worked fine. I can't get this to work at all.
What changes need to be
Ah, it seems that what I got is the ADXL345 version. I didn't realize there were two available. It says "Grove 3-axis Accelerometer" on both of them.
Hi, I have got this working on a BeagleBone Green. I have created the following JavaScript library for this device: https://github.com/psiphi75/ac...
We design it to be a logger, it can work with a very low power consumption.
Hi~we will test it tomorrow, and will give you a feedback then,Thanks.
