Grove Kitting Service – Customize Your Very Own Unique Grove Kit!

Here at Seeed, we are excited to introduce to you our Grove Kitting Service, a service for you to customise your own Grove Kit. 

What is Grove

Grove is an open-source, modulated, and ready-to-use toolset. It takes a building block approach to assemble electronics. Compared with the traditional, complicated learning method of using a breadboard and various electronic components to assemble a project, Grove simplifies the learning process significantly.

The Grove System consists of a Base Shield and various modules with standardized connectors. The Base Shield allows for easy connection of any microprocessor input or output from the Grove modules, and every Grove module addresses a single function, such as a simple button or a more complex sensor. There are already more than 300 Grove modules and each one comes with clear documentation and demo code to help you get started quickly.

Grove Kitting Service

We are delighted to share with you our Grove kitting service! You can now customise your Grove Kit with the different boards, Grove modules and cables that you need. This customizability will enable you to choose the modules and boards that you need specifically for your project or your requirements. 

You can also design the outer packaging of the Grove Kit by uploading your own designed stickers. You will then have your very own fully customised Grove Kit!

Simply head to the Grove Kitting Service website and get your customized Grove Kit now! 

On the website, you will see the following! First, choose the system boards that you want to be included in your Grove Kit. It is optional whether or not to include a system board in your Grove Kit.

As of now, only Seeeduino Lotus is available for selection. We will include more Arduino boards in the future. Stay tuned! Also, let us know which board you would like to be available!

Next, you will select the Grove modules that you want to include in your Grove Kit. Do note that Grove modules aren’t optional choices. Every Grove modules you selected will come with a 20cm Grove Cable! Additional cables can also be added at the bottom.

Moving on, a box size will be automatically chosen depending on the number of connectors you picked! You can then upload a sticker design with the standard dimension to customise your Grove Kit, earning you an exclusive personalised Grove Kit! 

Sample files with the standard dimensions are available for download. If no sticker design is uploaded, a transparent plastic box will be used by default.

After customising your Grove Kit, you will select the number of Grove Kits you want. After confirming your customisation, add it to the cart! After you complete the payment, your own customised Grove Kit is on the way to your hands!

You may choose to purchase the different kits already available for Grove products. These Grove Kits contains a base unit, and several Grove sensors and connectors to get you started on your project. Here at Seeed, we offer Grove kits for a variety of microcontrollers and single-board computers. Here are some examples!

Grove Beginner Kit for Arduino

This beginner kit comes with an Arduino UNO compatible board – Seeeduino Lotus. It comes with 10 different Grove modules, more than enough to get you started working on your project! Find out more here!
