Today, we have an exciting update to share with you – the results of the nail penetration test for the battery of the SenseCAP T1000.

The Nail Penetration Test: A Glimpse into Extreme Testing

We recently conducted an extreme test involving the battery of our tracker. In this test, we pierced the battery with a drill bit, effectively causing a short circuit. This may sound intense, but it’s a crucial step in examining a scenario that, although rare, could potentially occur in real-world uses.

The primary aim of this test was to determine whether our tracker’s battery would emit smoke or catch fire under such extreme conditions. By subjecting our device to this rigorous test, we aimed to verify the safety and reliability of the battery, ensuring that it meets the highest standards.

Results of the Nail Penetration Test

We’re thrilled to share that we’ve conducted the nail penetration test on approximately 50 sample pieces, and the results are remarkable. Our tracker not only withstood the test, but did it so admirably.
