Hey community,
Today we are proud and excited to announce the launch of our new open wiki platform. This upgraded platform is the home of all our technical documentation, covering Sensor, Network, Edge, and the Cloud & Chain. It also represents our commitment to making technology accessible for all via a more open, interactive, and inclusive platform. More importantly, the new wiki is hosted on GitHub, enabling the whole community to get involved in contributions.
The New Wiki
Since 2008, we have been dedicating ourselves to developing an advanced perception system for digital transformation. Our advanced perception system consists of various series of modules, devices, and solutions covering the 4 layers of IoT architecture of Sensor, Network, Edge, and Cloud. Based on these layers, we’ve restructured all our wiki contents into 4 sections respectively. Ultimately, this new wiki platform will play host to an extensive selection of tutorials, software applications, courses for development kits, and learning resources.
Apart from the content restructure, the new wiki platform also features a search bar, dark mode, reactions & comments to help the community get access effectively to the content that you are looking for. Let us know in the comment section if you have any features that you’d love us to include. We’re open to suggestions.
Call for Contribution
We’re super excited to be on the frontline of enabling global developers to get data from the physical world to build smart solutions in industrial settings, and our new wiki will be the platform where you can get started with your journey of leveraging digital transformation.
We know it’s not 100% perfect yet and our team is still improving and moderating the new platform. However, we’d also love to send out an invitation to the community to contribute to building up the platform with us. No matter whether it is bug hunting or document translation, or even a project tutorial, please go check out our contribution section here to contribute your efforts. We look forward to your pull requests and comments. Thank you so much in advance.
For those who contributed, we’ll make sure your name is on our Contributor List. Spoiler, we’ll include more thank-you gifts to our Wiki Contribution Bounty Program, which will be released soon. Stay tuned for more updates.
That’s all for today. If you wanna share what projects you’re working on, shoot us a tweet @seeedstudio, let us know on LinkedIn and Discord, or publish your project on our Project Hub on Hackster.
