Searching for Seeed Rangers in These Countries!

Dear Friends of Seeed,

We hope you are all staying safe and sound as we enter into the second half of 2020. Amidst all the changes and uncertainties that we’ve encountered in the last six months due to the global Covid-19 pandemic, Seeed has also been working hard to come up with some exciting new products and initiatives, including bringing back the Seeed Ranger Program. First launched in 2018 with some enthusiastic and dedicated Rangers, this time we are looking for Ranger candidates in specific countries: Czech Republic, Indonesia, Malaysia, Mexico, the Philippines, Poland, Portugal, Thailand, Turkey and Vietnam.

What is the Seeed Ranger Program?

The Seeed Ranger Program is an initiative that aims at collaborating with skilled and experienced developers who also have a passion for community building and sharing. Through our selected Rangers from different regions in the world, Seeed hopes to reach out to more users with our technology offerings and services knowhow, and at the same time grow a core group of experts who can be our close partners in product development and even market expansion.

We search for Ranger candidates with the above qualities and qualifications.

The Seeed Rangers are familiar with what Seeed is as a company, what it offers in products and services, and ideally love our products and use them in their personal or professional projects. They are able makers who can create demos with a new product and provide constructive feedback about how we can improve something. The Rangers are also good community participants or organizers, who are happy to share their knowledge in online forums, workshops, webinars, even physical conferences.

What are the benefits and expectations for the Seeed Rangers?

Most of our Rangers are full-time employees at other companies or freelance engineers, who in their spare time love to create their own projects and share them with the community. As a Seeed Ranger, they get access to free Seeed products to support their existing interests, and those with outstanding skillsets can apply to our Bounty Program and work with Seeed’s in-house product development team.

Below are the benefits and expectations for our Seeed Rangers:

How to apply to become a Seeed Ranger

Do not be alarmed about the long list of Ranger tasks. We do not expect our Rangers to perform all of them, or all the time. Applicants to the program will be initially selected based on their experience and qualifications, and then asked to build a demo with a Seeed product of their choice, and upload them to a platform of their choice. Once they are selected officially as Seeed Rangers, we will conduct an interview to get to know each other more, discuss interests, and work out a plan together.

So if you are interested, and live in one of the countries listed above, please fill out this form to apply to the Seeed Ranger Progam! Even though our search for Rangers is always ongoing, for this batch of Rangers we will be selecting 20 initial candidates on a rolling basis, and therefore we would love to receive your application no later than July 31, 2020. We will evaluate applications as we receive them, and contact selected candidates accordingly. If you don’t live in one of countries, do not worry as we will be doing another wider search later this year and we promise to keep you posted.

If you have any questions about this program in the meantime, please feel free to leave a comment or email us at [email protected] Thanks and we hope to hear from you!
